Diaz and football misc.

First, an article about Braves leftfielder Matt Diaz, a Christian, and how well he's playing this year. It's hard to believe that they talked about trading him last winter! Here's the article: http://www.ajc.com/braves/content/sports/braves/stories/2007/05/31/0601braves.html.

Next, an article that I'm not too sure what to think about, but I thought that I would send it along anyways. It's about Bengals wide receiver Chad Johnson racing a horse to raise money for Feed the Children, a Christian organization. Here's the article:

Also, an article about IU football coach Terry Hoeppner and his missing spring practices to recuperate from brain surgery last year. He's someone in the sports world who could probably use some prayers. Here's the article:

Lastly, an article about the Colts visiting Randolph Air Force in Texas. The team was awarded the American Spirit Award by the Air Force. Those that went were head coach Tony Dungy (a Christian); players Hunter Smith (a Christian), Adam Vinatieri, Justin Snow (a Christian), Gary Brackett (a Christian), and Bob Sanders; and team president Bill Polian. The Colts were thanking those in the Air Force for their service to the U.S. and they were thanking the Colts for coming in return. I thought that I would mention this article since most of those involved are Christians. Here's the article, with pictures at the bottom of the page:
