Pollack and MLB

Hi. Here's a coulple of articles from back in October. First, a great article on the Bengals David Pollack, a Christian, and his recovery from a broken vertebrae in his neck. I couldn't get the article on the Atlanta Journal Constitution website that it was originally on, but I found it reprinted on this Bengals blog. Lastly, an article about the nominees for the Hutch Award, given to an MLB player who has overcome professional or personal adversity, like battling back from an injury, and someone who is dedicated to his team and shows the courage and dedication. The nominees were the Reds Ken Griffey, Jr., Diamondbacks Orlando Hudson, Yankees Derek Jeter, Red Sox Mark Loretta, Cardinals Albert Pujols, Twins Brad Radke, Orioles Brian Roberts, White Sox Jim Thome, Marlins Dontrelle Willis and A's Barry Zito.
